No home games scheduled against the BWC in the newly released WBB schedule. SLOGRAD says they won't come for MBB either. What gives?

Because it looks bad when they talk Bakersfield down and then get beaten by them.
Seriously, I'm sure they will give you RPI reasons, SOS (and some of the SOS arguments have made sense. Baseball for example is not really affected by such a boycott due to baseball being generally good) and all and such, but basically they have begun to avoid due to the losses in the recent past.

Those are BS excuses. The BWC is a one bid league so RPI and SOS are irrelevant. What do they have against travelling to Bakersfield other than losing to a newly DI school?

It's weird. Last year the excuse was that it was a ten team league, so they didn't have the open dates in the middle of the season. But the BW is back to 9 teams, and still won't schedule CSUB.
Barnes has talked about it in the past and has tried to schedule BW games.
The Cal Poly game used to get the highest attendance of the year other than Fresno.
At least Fresno is playing CSUB this year, wish the Runners could get Fresno to come to Rabobank, but at least they are playing them again this year.

Sparty, we have no home men's or women's basketball games against BWC opponents this season. Hopefully down the road.
