Anyone out there who follows basketball.....? I ask because this board seems to be mostly baseball followers who touch on basketball a little. Where are any basketball fans? You gotta' be out there, somewhere. We'd love to have your input.
Ok, a win.... over an 0-3 Delaware team.
Aly Ahmed looked pretty sharp: 19 pts 4 blks.
Team needs to improve the 45% FT shooting, for sure. That's not going to cut it most games.

Ok...its been a while since Ive been here with anything. Its been a tough season so far. But tonight we guy=tted out a 55-52 win over Cal!
Will this translate into a boost going into WAC play?
Who else is out there? If you are visiting, feel free to join in. This board is pretty quiet whenever baseball season isn't going on.

Im back again after a while posting on Basketball.
CSUB is currently in third in the WAC 7-5 / 13-16. They have played well in some and poorly in some. Nice last seconds win vrs UMKC the other night!
Assuming we beat Seattle, does anybody think we get ANY kind of invite to any other tourney this post season? I'm assuming we wont win the WAC tourney.
BTW, if anyone who follows basketball more closely than I do could post....that would be great. I want to see this board get more activity.

U G L Y game vrs Seattle last night! Id expect much cleaner, better game (from both teams) should these two teams meet in the tourney.
Ok, we have one game left and are chasing the 2n=d seed.
Will CSUB make any headway in the WAC tourney, given the improvements made later in this season?
I'd expect them to win at least one, IF they can play smart and play their inside came with Ahmed. I'd like to see them drive inside more, to penetrate. I think they needed to do more of that vrs Seattle. I think they could have drawn many more fouls against the Redhawks.
