The game between the reigning WAC regular season and tourney champs was an entertaining one indeed. Terrible refs really got the crowd going. Bakersfield led the whole game but a super loud raucous crowd seemed to affect the Runners and they committed several turnovers during a stretch in the 2nd half and the Aggies, who were shooting awful, let the crowd will them back into the game and pull it out. I'm going to go out on a limb and say the NMSU/CSBU is the best rivalry right now. Even though NMSU has a 11-1 record on CSBU the last several years all the games have been down to the wire with CSBU breaking my heart in the title game last year in Vegas. Even though we are 17-2 right now I think CSBU is still the team to beat. Anyway, Barnes has done an amazing job there (even though he is a huge whiner).
