Runners are a mess to start the season

I'm convinced Grayson being out is hurting the Runners a lot.

But no one has stepped up to replace Johnson and Savage. Carter hasn't made the quantum leap I expected in his senior year. I expected White to step up this year too. And the Runners can't shoot worth a damn. Too many turnovers too.

It's early. I still like this team a lot. But CSUB has no business losing like this to Sac St. the way they did tonight. The Runners have a lot more talent than the Hornets.

Lamb has been a nonfactor so far this year. Need his scoring desperately.

They'll be fine, I just didn't expect this rocky start to the season. Would like to see the Runners press more.

WOW! A three point win over NAIA Westmont, not very impressive. With a 299 RPI and 215 SOS Barnes & CSUB should be embarrassed. Hell, I'm embarrassed to be a supporter, soccer tanked, basketball is well on the way to the bottom, looking forward to the spring and baseball. Maybe the Runners could compete in NAIA.......

I hear ya. Granted two close ones but...struggling against Sac St and Westmont like that? No offense to Sac but...20 pt loss?
